Stop Motion Animation

Stop motion animation is a captivating and creative art form that has been around for over a century.

It involves taking a series of still photographs of a physical object or character and then playing them back in rapid succession to create the illusion of movement.

This unit of work will introduce children to the basics of stop motion animation, including the techniques and tools used in the process. Children will have the opportunity to experiment with different materials, create their own characters, and bring them to life through the magic of stop motion animation.
