FIRST LEGO League Challenge- Submerged

Discover a world of inspiration with the FIRST LEGO League Challenge This season the theme is Submerged – a dynamic platform that promises both excitement and learning for your child.

From constructing autonomous LEGO robots to addressing real-life challenges through research and imaginative problem-solving. By participating, children gain not only technical skills in design and programming but also essential life skills such as teamwork and critical thinking.

We will celebrate the roles our STEM skills play whilst researching the Oceans

What you need to know

  • What?

The Ocean is more than what we can see on the Horizon! Use creative thinking and LEGO technology to explore the layers of the ocean.

During the sessions children will experience the four areas:

Robot Design: Children will design and build an autonomous robot that will navigate the game table and complete as many missions as possible.

Robot Game: Children will try to complete as many missions as possible in two and a half minutes to score as many points as possible.

Innovation Project: Children will explore a real world problem connected with the Oceans. They will research an area of interest and come up with a solution, supported by industry experts and present this project in an innovative way on competition day.

Core Values: Throughout the sessions and on competition day children will be working towards the core values of Disovery, Innovation, Impact, Inclusion, Teamwork, Fun
