Personalised Planning

Our teaching staff work with you to custom design an incredible learning experience for your students. We take the stress out of planning and seamlessly weave your units and topics into our delivery. Whether you’re seeking a half or full day workshop, a robotics or computing unit delivered over 4-10 weeks or longer-term PPA, we have everything covered.

The six-week course of Lego Robotics delivered by Briony, Lindsey and Sophie from Cognition Learning was nothing short of superb! Their planning and delivery demonstrated a high level of knowledge and understanding of the computing curriculum and the level of engagement with both children and school staff was extremely professional, leaving everyone wanting more.

‘Inspired’, ‘motivated’ and ‘enthused’ are how pupils described themselves during the project; the learning was a joy to watch as they created their own ‘awe and wonder’ moments. We shall definitely be using Cognition Learning again as the project demonstrated excellent value for money and it certainly enriched our curriculum.

Thank you!

High-tech specialist equipment

We provide our own cutting-edge robotics kits, Lego Education experiences and iPads for a whole class to be able to enjoy and benefit from opportunities that may otherwise be out of reach.

Unique learning style

We encourage learning through play and discovery, allowing children to solve their own problems and develop intuitive application. Our sessions are especially suited to those children who find ‘desk-based learning’ trickier, with a carefully structured yet explorative and failure-positive approach.

Experienced, Highly qualified staff

With two highly qualified teachers, a PhD scientist and a Science Communication specialist, we have over 30 years’ teaching experience between us. All our staff undergo safer-recruitment procedures, and all hold enhanced DBS checks, safeguarding and paediatric first aid qualifications.

Mental health support

Lockdown has been detrimental to children’s mental health in a way that we cannot yet fully gauge. Our sessions are designed to help children learn to laugh, work together and re-develop confidence in an engaging, exciting way.

Competitive pricing

As a community interest company, we are committed to helping as many young people in our local area as possible. With this in mind, we keep our course pricing to a minimum to ensure that we are accessible to as many schools and pupils as we can.
