our most flexible summer ever!

Choose your session timings; mornings from 9:30-1:30, afternoons from 1:30-3:30

or ALL DAY from 9:30-3:30.

We’re partnering with Cornwall Council’s Time2Move summer holiday provision and some great local children’s providers to bring you a summer packed full of options for your children. The booking system is a little different this year, but it’s still the same high quality teacher-led provision that you’re used to from Cognition Learning.

  • All of Cognition Learning’s Summer STEAM days will be run by our fantastic team of teachers and facilitators.

  • Open to children aged 5-11+

  • Children will be divided into age groups and will rotate through 3 awesome and distinct STEAM
    (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) activities throughout the session, with a break for lunch and snack.

  • Our sessions will run from 9:30 - 1:30 at The Parkhouse Centre, Bude with the option to ‘add on’ a 2 hour afternoon activity for a full day’s provision.

A summer of collaboration

  • Time2Move - a Bude Collaboration

    We’re working closely with other children’s activity providers in and around Bude (LJD Coaching and Bude Beatz) to offer summer holiday provision through Time2Move.

    This means that all children who book will be entitled to a healthy lunch as well as our usual high quality (and unbelievably fun) activities.

    Spaces are free if you are in receipt of Free School Meals and are kept as low as possible if you do not.

  • What's On?

    • Monday and Tuesdays throughout August (other days provided by other organisations)

    • Summer STEAM Days - a wide range of fun workshops and activities (download our session overviews)

    • 9:30 am -1:30 pm

    • £27 or Free if you qualify for Free School Meals

    • Lunch included (all dietary requirements catered for)

    • Current Reception pupils - Current Year 6 pupils and beyond

    • Afternoon ‘add-on’ activities for a 3:30pm finish.

  • How to Book

    Booking your child’s space is a little different this year.

    You’ll need to book the morning sessions through the Time2Move portal which is run by the wonderful LJD Coaching. The portal can be found here.

    If you wish to add on an afternoon session to have 9:30-3:30 childcare then you book the afternoon sessions below, using our website as normal.

    If you only want the afternoon session of 1:30-3:30, that’s fine too! Just let us know when you’re booking by ticking the box on the form.

The afternoon add-on activities can be tagged on to your morning session, or booked as a standalone activity. Prices start from £15 for 2 hours. Some classes (with take-home tech) are slightly more.
