Our Little STEAM play sessions are carefully planned by our expert EYFS teacher to gently guide children through a wide range of topics in a supportive, fun and relaxed atmosphere. Messy play, visual science, introductory coding, mark making, listening skills, arts and crafts - you name it, we have it covered!
This is a play group like no other, with friendly faces and an educational focus we will guide your small ones through some wonderful explorative play experiences.
Playing and learning alongside our experienced educators, children will develop a whole range of skills that will set them up for their upcoming adventures in nursery and school.
Pre-phonics, numeracy, fine-motor control, problem solving, communication and social skills are woven seamlessly into fun and engaging lesson plans.
We provide a wide variety of resources including Montessori-inspired toys, LEGO Education kits and of course, lots of hands-on textural experiences that leave little minds bursting with curiosity.
What is little steam?
When & what time? Wednesday mornings & Friday mornings
9:30am - 10:30am & 10.00am-11.00am
Where? Cognition Learning @ The STEM Den
How much ? £6 per class + £2 per sibling.
Under 1’s are free.
What do adults do? You are encouraged to play alongside your child and socialise with other parents/carers. We will have hot or cold drinks available for sale to enjoy whilst the children play.
Sessions run for one hour and are run by fully qualified staff in a friendly, secure environment.
Please note, we do not currently have baby changing facilities.
