GORY BODIES: VILE VIKINGS
Monday 25th October
9.30am - 12pm. £25
Suitable for Year 3+
The Vikings were famous for war, Thor, raiding and invading - leaving more than a few bodies in their wake!
In this brilliant biology workshop we will focus on some of the ‘gory’ aspects of the warring Vikings. We will look at the heart and it’s functions, delve into the brilliance of brains and experiment with eyeball catapults - to name just a few of the spine-tingling scientific discoveries that this session has to offer.
Come along and see what our bodies are made of… if you’re feeling brave enough! (NB: No real body parts will be used in this session!)
Lego We:Do and BricQ Motion
Vicious Viking Invasion
Monday 25th October
1.30PM - 4PM. £20
Suitable for Year 3+
Longships, battering rams and catapults - or should that be cata-bots? - at the ready!
Come and try our BRAND NEW Lego BricQ motion sets alongside our trusty WeDo robotics kits as we explore all things Viking on this afternoon of design, engineering and coding.
We’ll put on our thinking helmets and prepare to defend our settlement from invaders, exploring forces and motion along the way!
Frankenstein’s Little ‘Parkhouse’ of horrors
tuesday 26th october
9.30am - 12pm. £25
Suitable for all ages from Reception year+
Vampires beware! This session will have us dabbling on the dark side as we explore all things light and shadow.
This design and craft session will see your little vampires construct a working sundial and a glowing Jack O’lantern before you get creative in our art workshop, designing and making your very own Frankenstein’s monster to take home.
Kubo robotics: Trick or Treat!
tuesday 26th October
1.30pm - 4pm. £20
Suitable for Reception-Year 2
Candy is dandy but Kubo is the sweetest robot in town! This session is the perfect introduction to screen-free coding concepts for younger participants, combining engaging, user-friendly technology, simple instruction and a fang-tastic Trick or Treat task to complete!
Spooky Science:
Witches, Whizzes and fizzes
wednesday 27th october
9.30am - 12pm. £25
Suitable for all ages from Reception year+
SNAP, CRACKLE AND BANG….THIS FIZZ-TASTIC SCIENCE LESSON WILL LEAVE YOUR CHILDREN SPELLBOUND!
This session is a great introduction to practical science experimentation that will leave your child spellbound. Taking inspiration from some of our favourite literary witches, you’ll create foaming, bubbling and steaming creations in our cauldrons; pin down the perfect recipe for halloween bath fizzers and experiment with exploding boo bombs too!
SINISTER SCRATCH CODING: Doom on the broom
wednesday 27th october
1.30pm - 4pm. £15
Suitable for Year 3+
Creepy critters, ghoulish ghosts and bonkers bats are all invited to our Sinister Scratch Story telling session! Join us as we write code to control a Hallowe’en ChatBot and create your very own Hallowe’en adventure in this coding class which will show you how to create a simple pick-a-path story.
Children will need the details for their own Scratch accounts (free) for this session.
Spooky Science: Ghastly Ghosts
THURsday 28th october
9.30am - 12pm. £25
Suitable for all ages from Reception year+
This is our science and engineering extravaganza! Work in teams to complete the bone bridge challenge, construct treat-launching trebuchets and creepy creature catchers on this hands-on morning of design, exploration and modification.
Then hold on as we make fizzy ghosts and exploding ghost rockets - not to mention our magic magnetic tricks!
Minecraft: Haunted House
thursday 28th october
9.45am - 12pm. £15
Suitable for Intermediate Level (you may bring your own laptop/ tablet if you wish)
What will be lurking in the shadows of your creative build? Use redstone to create spooky eyes peering out from the shadows. Pressure plates and trip wires can be used to create a terrifying horror effects. Where will your imagination take you?
Work collaboratively to create a spooky haunted house, and once the houses are built you will have the opportunity to explore each house and take part in a ghostly guided tour!
LEGO Spike PRIME: rest In pieces
THURsday 28th october
1.30pm - 4pm. £20
Suitable for Years 5+
Our flagship LEGO robotics kits are getting a monstrous makeover in this session. Create and build a creepy creature that screams out when someone gets too close!
We’ll be exploring the functions of the distance sensor and really getting in depth with the finer aspects of writing accurate algorithms. Things won’t be going bump in the night - if we code them right!

HUBBLE, BUBBLE - THIS MAGICAL SESSION WILL BE FAR FROM TOIL AND TROUBLE!
Perfect for younger LEGO and coding enthusiasts, this LEGO Education We:Do workshop will guide your child through a simple build and code exercise.
Using our fantastic LEGO Education Robotics kits, we will learn about the motor function and how to code it to run at different speeds and directions; all with a wacky flying witch on top!
Little Scream halloween party
Friday 29th october
9.30am - 10.30am or 11.00pm-12.00pm

Suitable for ages 0-5
Dress up in your favourite costumes and join us for some Halloween-themed messy and sensory play! This super session for our youngest participants has lots of opportunity for exploration, discovery, fun and games. Parents are invited to join us at this party.
Cog at the movies: halloween Animation special
friday 29th october
9.45am - 12:15pm. £20
Calling all budding film makers! This spectacular session will focus on the deliciously dark side of special effects and animation. Turn yourself into a headless horseman, fly high on a broomstick or show us your best spooky short movie trailer - you could even stop-motion a puking pumpkin!
There’s no limit to the skele-fun you’ll have - all while learning new skills and sharing your ideas with like-minded movie masters.
Minecraft monster mash up
Friday 29th october
1.30am - 4pm. £15
Suitable for Intermediate experience
There’s no better way to end our Halloween Extravaganza than with everyone’s favourite game! This super-sized session will have you howling (at the moon) with laughter as we create some seriously spectacular monsters.
Working in teams of three, you will collaborate and each design and build sections of your monster - think Consequences, but in craft-mode!
Encouraging teamwork, negotiation and a whole lot of fun, participants will have the chance to show off their skills, share knowledge and have an all-round awesome time.
